Well, it has been a wild week in the potato and onion world, well onions anyway.  Potato market has remained steady and we do expect to see it move slightly over the next few weeks. 

Onions have been active and closed the week higher.  No volume of new crop onions coming across the border to help relieve the price and we don’t expect it to change soon.  Look for higher prices next week.  Idaho/Oregon will start at $20 or higher on Jumbo Yellows.  New crop will be somewhere north of $23.
